Why Cagayan de Oro’s Economic System is Primarily {Based On|Being Founded On Trade, Service Industry and Tourism

Where is Cagayan de Oro? It is also known as the City of Golden Friendship is the capital of the province of Misamis Oriental, the regional hub for Northern Mindanao. A youthful metropolis compared to other very urbanized cities in the Philippines, Cagayan de Oro has a number of inhabitants of over 460,000 in 200,000 households. Initially chartered as a metropolis as “Cagayan de Misamis,” its title was at some point replaced to “Cagayan de Oro” in status of the gold mining activities around recognised by Spanish explorers.
